چکیده

Mirror therapy is a method that increases the functionality of affected extremity and effective in treatment chronic pain. In this study, we aimed to investigate effect mirror on shoulder impingement syndrome. The study included 62 participants, including 31 intervention group (IG) control (CG) who met inclusion criteria. IG received with conventional physiotherapy while CG only physiotherapy. patients were evaluated before immediately after Visual Analog Scale (VAS) score for pain, goniometric measurement range motion, modified Constant-Murley functionality, Tampa Kinesiophobia (TSK) kinesiophobia. After treatment, change VAS was 5.51 ± 1.89 IG, 2.80 2.61 CG, significance p<0.01. TSK 10.83 9.53 1.66 4.85 (p<0.01). total 23.77 11.41 9.60 9.70 calculated as This showed addition can improve pain severity, levels kinesiophobia unilateral decrease fear movement along syndrome has shown theraphy be used different diseases which it not been before.

The Impact of Open Kinetic Chain Exercises and TRX Suspension Exercises on Shoulder Joint Proprioception in Overhead Athletes with Shoulder Impingement Syndrome : Randomized Controlled Trial

Purpose: Sub-acromial impingement syndrome [SIS] is one of the most common causes of shoulder pain, which affects shoulder joint proprioception. Closed kinetic chain [CKC] exercises with a Sling are more effective and safer than open kinetic chain [OKC] exercises. This study aimed to compare the efficiency of OKC and Sling exercises [TRX] on shoulder sense position joints in overhead athletes w...
